So Easy!

I saw these beautiful cardigan candle covers on another blog recently and totally fell in love with them. I thought they looked so warm and cozy and very simple to make.

So while I was out at some local thrift stores I picked up a few old cardigan sweaters and some glass containers and decided to put some together.

This one is my very first attempt and I think it came out beautifully! This one is a lovely blue color, which matches my color scheme and I have plans to add a cream colored one and a rust colored one (if I can find a cardigan in that color).

Oh...And I'm already planning all the wonderful color schemes for this Thanksgiving and Christmas! I can just, green, white....oh the possibilities!

I've done this for wine bottle gift bags. Just tie a velvet, satin or grossgrain ribbon with a vintage tag and voila - a perfect host gift. :)
