It's stocked full of everything orange, black, and white and I've added lots of other vintage goodies for just for Halloween!
These are only a few of the items that I have added so be sure to jump on over to my shop to see what other fun things I have.

Lace Trim Tag Kit - Sweet Pumkin Pie

Pumpkin Orange Pom Pom Trim

Ruffled Crepe Paper Garland - Orange Spice & Black Licorice

Spooky Haunted House Vintage Playing Cards

So Easy!

I saw these beautiful cardigan candle covers on another blog recently and totally fell in love with them. I thought they looked so warm and cozy and very simple to make.

So while I was out at some local thrift stores I picked up a few old cardigan sweaters and some glass containers and decided to put some together.

This one is my very first attempt and I think it came out beautifully! This one is a lovely blue color, which matches my color scheme and I have plans to add a cream colored one and a rust colored one (if I can find a cardigan in that color).

Oh...And I'm already planning all the wonderful color schemes for this Thanksgiving and Christmas! I can just imagine..red, green, white....oh the possibilities!

Thriftin'!

Today was my first day of vacation (yah!) so I headed out bright and early to hit some estate sales. The sales were not that fruitful so after only stopping at two I headed off to find some thrift stores. I actually drove across the state line to Post Falls and decided to see what their local shops had to offer.

Well.....they were fabulous!

I picked up some pretty good deals at the first three stores..but then I headed to the Hospice Thrift Shop. The moment I walked in the door I was knew I was in for a treat! They had a HUGE section entirely devoted to crafts...There were walls and walls of fabric, yarn, sewing items, and so much more.

These pictures only show a very small amount of what they had. Everything was so neat, organized, and priced very well. They sure know how to do things right at this store..and all the money earned is going to such a great cause.
I know I will be heading back for sure!
